Becoming an Artist of Some Sort — (a few sketches, pencil drawing and whatnot)

After my hand injury, I’ve been pretty grateful for just having hands in general. I’ve been trying to use it as much as I can, to get my agility and control back as much as possible.

Along with learning and practicing the violin, I have started drawing pictures.

Well, I don’t know. This is just a dump of pictures I have drawn.

*shrugs* i dunno

..Inside joke. lol.

I really don’t take it too seriously, but I’m learning anyhow.

Scolding Dad

I started drawing a person, and I figured he started to look like a scolding dad. So I made him into a scolding dad.

Every picture has it’s imperfections. But maybe I’ll keep at it.

On of many sketches where I was trying to learn different hand poses. It’s not a great picture by any means, but I think it’s interesting to look back on. And I did learn a few things from doing this.

It’s one of those things that you can just “do”. And learn as you go. Maybe something slightly cool will accidentally just come out of it, if I keep it up.

Sci-fi glove

This is a sci-fi glove for a character I’m working on. Colored pencil and some charcoal outlines.

It kind of gives me a break from thinking about music, where I can be a bit of a perfectionist. In fact, I think it’s helped me to not be overly critical about my music. Which is great, because that kind of mindset can be a creative road block at times.
