Let’s Get This Show On The Road

Lately I have been mostly silent on my blog/social media side of things… However, I have been anything but quiet behind the scenes. And now I write to you, dear reader, with excitement! For one thing, I’ve went ahead and sorted out through all the unreleased music I have written. It totals to roughly 50 songs, and I’ve laid them out in an organized fashion – because I intend to put the work in and finish them.

On another topic, I’ve been off of the night shift for about a year and a half now and I’ve been at my current job for almost a full year. I’m feeling pretty comfortable with the balance of things, and I’m finding that I am able to set aside time for myself to work on things nowadays. I have just about all of the tools that I need in order to get started on achieving my artistic goals, and I’ve been doing a lot in the vein of planning and productivity. I’m building a team. I’m learning a lot. Now it’s time to apply it!

I’m keeping some things pretty “under the radar” for now, but if you’re curious at all about what I’m doing specifically, feel free to message me personally or get in on the email list. (I am a normal human being, after all, and not just a computer trapped forever behind a small internet blog.)

What have I learned?

If there’s any tidbit of potentially useful information that I can pass on to you based on my recent understandings, it would be this: surround yourself with cool people, and make sure at least some of them are better than you in some areas. I’m learning that cool things tend to happen when you work together with other people. And when you are able to humble yourself and learn from people. I’m also learning better how to schedule myself to do things, and to be patient with the rate at which my goals come to life.

So there you have it! Hope that helps you in some way or another. Until next time.
