I’ve been thinking a lot about inspiration — the fuel of our human endeavors. I love it. But I’ve also realized that inspiration has an expiration date. It turns sour after a while. I’ve learned that I need to utilize my inspiration while I have it, and find good sources of “inspiration food.”
So I was doing some drum tests one day… and as I was setting up my drums, I said to myself: “Y’know what, there just aren’t enough pictures of mic’d up drum kits in this world.” Fortunately, I had a pretty decent camera in my possession at the time. So I got to work. Enjoy!
I had this dream about a week ago. It was one of those interesting dreams which felt like — or may have actually started out as — reality. A smooth shift from “trying to get to sleep” to “dreaming”. Since I found this one particularly interesting, and it lingered on my mind quite vividly, I just thought I would share it.
